There are many ways of causing joint dysfunction in dogs. Many dogs these days are not working in the ways that they were bred to work.

Long periods of inactivity may be followed by bursts of vigorous exercise; collars may be poorly fitting or inappropriate for the dog and / or handler; collars/leads may be inappropriately used. Sports such as agility or flyball can also cause problems in the musculoskeletal system due to micro trauma or falls.
Canine chiropractic is for all types of dogs including house pets, agility dogs, herding dogs, sport dogs, greyhounds, canine partners (guide dogs, police dogs etc.)
