Specialised Chiropractor
Altogether the education takes 6 years which includes 5 years academic education with an international accredited chiropractic school with 1 year after graduation working alongside a chiropractor if outside Sweden or if you complete the 1 year in Sweden you must complete it in a hospital setting.
After these 6 years then there are opportunities to specialise in a specific treatment technique or further education. Thus a specialised chiropractor will either use a particular treatment method or have carried out postgraduate education.
Example of treatment techniques
- Applied Kinesiology
- Cranio-sacral
- Sacro Occipital Technique
- Gonstead Technique

At KiropraktorCentrum the chiropractors have either a specialised education or are undertaking postgraduate education. You can ask about specialised qualifications when you meet your chiropractor.
